Norsfell is looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and maintain gameplay mechanics and systems
- Implement and maintain meta-game systems
- Support Design/Art teams with integration
- Work with QA to analyze and fix gameplay bugs
- Contribute to continuous updates and delivery
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Unreal Engine (C++)
- Experience with real-time multiplayer
- Familiar with debugging and profiling tools
- Willing and knowledge to work on various gameplay systems (AI, Controls, Animation, 3D Math)
- At ease in English and/or French
- Eligible to work in Canada
ASSETS:
- Knowledge of Unreal 5 world-building pipeline: world partition, PCG, OFPA, etc…
- Experience in a procedurally generated environment
- Experience with multiplayer/live-operated games
- Experience with top-down gameplay (Diablo, Bastion-like)
- Degree in Computer Sciences or related fields
- Familiar with GIT
- Able to communicate in French
